I.N.S.'s I-9 form completion and document verification help.
All employees and employers must complete an I-9 stating proof of right to work in the United States. There are heavy fines imposed by the I.N.S. (Immigration and Naturalization Service) if completed improperly. Employers must also check identification.

Criminal Background Checks
Star can do criminal and misdemeanor background checks before you hire that employee. Our checks show all convictions over the last 7 years. This is a very inexpensive, and worthwhile, service! You will normally receive the report within 48 hours.
Employee Reference Checks
Star will call past employers for you and get employment references. This is something that should always be done before you hire anyone. However, it can be time consuming, and costly, to pay an employee to take care of it. Many times it takes several days and many communications before you can get an accurate evaluation of the prospective employee. Therefore, costing you possibly hundreds of dollars to pay someone to get it done. Star charges a flat fee for this service, regardless of how long or how many calls it takes. Note: Sometimes a past employer will only give dates worked and no other information. Our regular rates still apply. |
